Dr. Randy Valimont is known for his passion for Christ and dauntless vision for the Church. As a leader and teacher, Dr. Valimont inspires people to live bold and innovative lives for the spread of God’s truth throughout the world. He is the Senior Pastor of Griffin First Assembly of God church and has seen it grow in attendance from 400 to 4,200 under his leadership. 

Dr. Valimont is a gifted minister and has preached in more than 40 nations and on Christian media programs. His first published book, Finding Significance in an Insignificant Place, released in 2006, followed by Betrayed, released in 2014. Links needed.

With a generous heart for missions, Dr. Valimont launched the international radio and television ministry, Fresh Touch, which in turn led to the launch of the highly influential Wontok Radio in Papua, New Guinea. With three doctorates, he has been recognized for his wisdom and insight, providing prayerful direction and leadership on many boards and counsels, including those of the A/G Trust, Global University, Global Teen Challenge, Emerge Ministries, and General Council of the Assemblies of God.

In 2011, the Lord directed Dr. Valimont to a land near and dear to his heart: India. Named President of the international non-profit Calcutta Mercy, he provides holistic care to disadvantaged and struggling families in one of the most impoverished cities in the world.

At home, he is husband to Jelly Valimont, “Dad” to three grown daughters, and "Pop's" to one granddaughter.
